I have tried every trick that I have heard of. I can't get this wallpaper off the entry way walls! I swear it will take me a year and it's a small room. I have tried vinegar and hot water and dawn and hot water. The paper is stuck! It's driving me crazy! Anyone have any ideas for me?

If you have a steamer or even a steam iron, try that first. Saturate the paper the best you can and let it penetrate. Work in small sections at a time. If that doesn't do the trick, pick up a product called DiF. You spray that stuff on and it really dissolves the old paste - works awesome when you're dealing with several layers.

Also, have you tried using a tool that puts tiny perforation holes into the wallpaper? It's like a scoring tool. This will help any liquid get in, to dissolve the paste.

There's also a product called 'Dif', designed for wallpaper removal. Using the scoring tool (or even a utility knife), lightly score the paper, then spray on the Dif, so the glue will start dissolving.

When I used DiF for a bedroom that had been papered over and over, I never scored the paper at all and it worked awesome. I will remember that for next time, though, as maybe it wouldn't have to sit for as long if I scored it.
