No advice here. I live in Maine. I use a wetsuit. And any little kid you see in the ocean is NUMB.

Anyone good enough to know how to alter a swimsuit pattern for those with no butt? LOL. Do you take in a dart under the butt?

Patterns assume a 42" hips = junk in the trunk. But I'm japanese. I don't have ANY. So everything sags :( I think fixing sag in a swimsuit will be easier than when I get to sewing my own pants, at least.
I saw the thread title and thought "What?! ABI needs sewing advice?! No way!" :gig

I think reducing/flattening the curve of the rear side of the leg holes and shortening crotch depth would work. Sure, a buttcrack dart would work... if no one looks at you! :gig

You might need to also change the angle of the hip seam on the back piece. make sense?

If you have a friend... put the swimsuit bottoms on wrongside out. You or the friend pinch the sagging places and mark with pencil, then sew darts where needed. You can do this alone, but having a friend do it will allow you to stand straight for the measurements. I also was thinking to put darts from the leg opening toward the center to take out fullness there, rather than a dart directly down the booty.

Just sew some throw pillows into the booty part of the swimsuit  I am such a big helper aren't I? :gig :p

I have no issue filling the booty part of the suit  however I have problems filling the top if that makes you feel better. We all have our own issues *sigh*

Thongs should be easy Abi...a little bit of string and maybe some left over quilting scraps or an old pocket...

I can make this easier. I'll just give you some of mine - plenty of junk in the trunk here. Want any belly to go with it?
