wow! these are GREAT! "no man is too poor to invest in a few hens" are you kidding?!?! this is should be our rallying cry! whooot! not wasting food is patriotic....

i have a 1942 Joy of Cooking that talks about rationing.. wow! can you imagine if that happened today? what if the masses couldnt get their potato chips? yikes!

I love those old propaganda posters. Some are so silly you just crack up. Others still hold true today.

If you go to the library of congress website you can get high res files. Then just take them to your friendly neighborhood copy shop :D

eta: they are usually in the vintage foor & bev section rather than the war time or propaganda section.
