Snowstorm Breakfast

On these types of extra storm days---no ordinary breakfast will do...LOL


We hit outside before 8---got goats handled, Tony hit the farm and handled chickens, cattle, hogs etc

Nicole and I built a snow tower, scraped porches, cars, etc. Then out came the sled.

At about 12:30 we were starving.

Just finished
Sausage gravy and biscuits
honey biscuits
scrambled eggs for them
cheese omlette for me
bacon (gotta have crispy bacon)
OJ
chocolate milk


we are stuffed...LOL

needless to say dinner will be small




SO WHAT great snowstorm breakfast did ya'll make?

We are making smoothies and headed out (in shorts and flips) the a couple of farmers markets

You are right snow storms = hot homemade soup and bread in my book too!

BTW We had cheese and basil omelets and toast with homemade strawberry jelly.

I steamed rice for dinner last night in some reduced homemade chicken broth and this morning I fried up the left-overs with some mixed veggies and duck eggs - it was pretty tasty
