Hi my name is kaci. I work out side the home as a nurse, happily married have 3 grown daughters and love living in the country. I love my chickens, horses and of course love making soap in my kitchen. I've made soap locally for my friends, neighbors for over ten years. My grandma taught me the craft as a teenager and when we moved to the country she sent me her recipes which included soapmaking and I've been making it eversince. I recently just started my own business at the farm markets/ craft shows with my daughters and we have been doing pretty well. I also have chickens and I'm not sure what is more addicting the chickens or the soap, I think for me it's soaping. We also have 5 horses, two are new youngsters born this year.

:welcome

I first fell in love with homemade soaps shortly after getting my first goats. Another goat enthusiast introduced me to goat milk soap and I was hooked, but I didn't try making my own for almost 10 years. Now, I can't get enough of the stuff. I, too, just started turning this into a business and sell goat milk soaps, lotions and salves.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about your soapmaking adventures.
