I have a squeezo (a grinder with screens (cone shaped ones) for making tomato sauce etc.), and I use it to make jam (i pour all the berries in the hopper, and crank out mashed, seedless berry goo, then I use to make jam) and applesauce (quarter apples, cook in pot, pour into hopper, and grind, the sauce comes out the good part, and the peels seeds and stems etc. extrude out the end)... what else can I use it for? any suggestions?

One of the women at our church uses hers for everything when she cans as one of her in-laws has diverticulitus and cannot have seeds of any kind.

We used it for applesauce yesterday. A beautiful machine. :D

I used to bake my bigger acorn squashes, run them through the squeezo and freeze up family sized portions.

I miss my Squeezo!

I LOVE mine! It clamps on the counter and hand cranks. This is the first year I used it to strain out the seeds in my black raspberries and blackberries for seedless jam. These days I am using it for applesauce. The only other thing I can think of for using it (other than tomatoes, as already mentioned) is pumpkin. But, most of us scoop the seeds out before cooking anyway... I also used mine for pear sauce.

oops--I don't think I'm talking about the same thing. Mine is a food mill with a hand crank and a second spout that spews out the skins and seeds. Same purpose, though. :)
