thank goodness my funeral was yesterday in the mountains...they are getting 7-9 ugh

Tony slid thru 1 intersection and ran part into a ditch while turning going to work this morning...at 5 am and his buddy, Big Jim, slid into a big embankment and did major damage to his front bumper, hood, etc.

See, this white stuff stinks...lol....and now it is sleeting.

I have a small tent I used at the farmer markets outside the front door and have to knock off the snow but at least I can get the dog outside. Anything over 3 inches and the dog darn near disappears lol

my gosh I am waiting on spring and hoping Tony makes it home OK tonight. winter stinks...I can't say it enough lol

Hey, FC, I was wondering about you...we haven't gotten anything yet, but the schools are already closed for tomorrow - dontcha just love the South?! We stocked up on kero & propane today, did our shopping yesterday...naturally can't find any snow-melt. DH ran back to Walley World this morning (he forgot TP for "his" bathroom) & said all the milk is gone. I'm planning on stayin' put for the next few days, & assuming the power is goin' down tomorrow, since we're supposed to be getting ice...:/

If worse comes to worst and you can't find any snow melt, try regular table salt. Any salt will work. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't melt the snow, but lowers the freezing temp of water.

it really snowed and the ice pellets are falling outside right now so hang in there cause it is heading up thru you guys

I don't think I will lose power cause the "worst" seems over and so far so good.....I hope you don't get too much. Cause I know how much it stinks when all ya want is warm, hot, sunny, Carolina blue skies haha

Yeah, I don't even remember what those are like anymore!!

DD...we used table salt during the last storm at Christmas...but I don't like to use it too much, cuz the front porch is real close to the front garden. :/
