A few weeks ago I bought some "Thanksgiving" fabric and proceeded to make three aprons for family members. Here are some photos of them.

I added a loop for a kitchen towel, and inseam pockets rather than patch pockets.

Those are beautifull! I just love the green one...but like the style of the last one...with the frilly shoulder straps...(hint,hint)
Some lucky family members you have there. I didn't know people still used aprons...I thought I was one of the last to use them. :p My kids poke fun at me when they see me in my apron...but I dont like to ruin my tops when cooking!

would you consider selling an apron made like those? I've been wanting a "real" apron for a long time.

pm me if you would be interested.

I'd like one in more everyday type fabric print

I love that style of apron. Nice work!
Did you use a pattern or copy an existing apron?

Those aprons are lovely, I love my aprons! I have one my SIL made me that I wear every Thanksgiving, and my mother just gave me another she found somewhere with a nice rooster theme. I have to say, the ones someone made are more special than anything found in a store. You should definitely consider making them for sale, a little extra money never hurts!

I wear aprons every day. I guess I am just a messy kind of person.

Those are beautiful. I love the dress form as well. I am keeping my eye open for one. I gave aprons most of last year as gifts. mil, sil etc... I still have some of the farm style I tried to sell on etsy. That did not go over so well. I guess I should give them as Christmas gifts.

thanks for the reminder. :D
