Funny thing about joining this site I thought I could seek assistance/advice on becoming more efficient and self-sustaining. But, just as my luck would have it I havent had any time to post since joining. For those of you who are teachers you probably know my plight new school year, new preps, new lesson plans.

I work at a school that requires formal lesson plans for every lesson, every day. I have three preps/classes (four period day 90 minute periods), and since I am teaching three classes (classes I have never taught before) I have to reinvent the wheel again and again. Not to mention, Im also case managing eight students. I dont mind developing lessons from what I consider to be a generic curriculum, but it is really time consuming. But, on a good note, I spent the whole weekend writing plans for the whole week for all three classes! So, now I can sit back and chill a bit.

Yesterday I tuned the big 31 and let me just say, even though work was rough it was amazing to come home and have a birthday card waiting for me drawn by my wife and colored by my daughter. My little one walked up to me and said Daddy, your birthday card. Here is your birthday. I love you! Pretty awesome for a two-year old. It brought a tear to my eye.

Anyway, hope everyone is well and thanks for all the welcomes. I look forward to posting and becoming an active member to this site.

Happy Belated Birthday. And :welcome

I agree after you hit 30 time travels at light speed. But after you hit 50 it travels at triple warp light speed. LOL

I think watching our children grow up makes it seem like light speed but it seems that my grandchildren grow three times faster than my children ever did.
