We are planting Toi Choy for the first time this year and we started our seeds indoors. Put them out in the garden about 2-3 weeks ago and suddenly they shot up and flowered. The stems got very little bulk to them compared to what I've seen in pictures.

At the suggestion of another forum, I cut the flowers off and am waiting to see if they'd grow anymore. Anyone else do this with Toi Choy (or maybe Bok Choy)?

That one is hard for me to grow as well. The successful times are when I direct seed in the garden. Every time I think I can start indoors they bolt as soon as I put them out. I have never had any success with cutting off the flower and I just harvest the small plants before the flea beetles destroy it. Good luck!
