Found him on facebook, he has connected with my family up in the Bay area...he has a wife and son. I want to add him and talk to him.

WHAT DO I SAY?

Hi, im your sister, i want to know you? Add me as a friend?

Or just "Hi......"

Very cool. I have connected with family in Caracas. Dad's first wife, great nephews and nieces I think. We use a igoogle to translate. It's kinda fun.

This will be a good ice breaker. If he responds you can take your time getting t now him. If he does not accept your request you will know he is not really interested.

to start off---just be super honest, and throw it out there.....

like---hey I am your sister and I knew you were contacting family in the Bay area....well I am going to jump right in and say here I am, lets talk! I would love to get to know you! and then let him come back with a reply and you will know what what reply you receive if he is accepting or cautious or whatever.

remember, he reached out first to the bay area family...so he is interested and wanting connections!
