The other night when I came home from the evening milking, this fellow was attempting to get in the front door.

And He didn't want to let me in!

Don't they have interesting skin?

I carefully moved him with my foot so I could open the door, he was not happy with me for not letting him in the house.

I was reading up on Colorado River Toads, and found out

"When a Colorado River toad is threatened, it will secrete a milky-white hallucinogenic toxin from the parotoid glands under its jaw."

Do you think the Pincess that kissed the Frog Prince, was merely "tripping out"?

what a beautiful big toad.

most toads (and some frogs) secrete mild neurotozings that cause halucinations...so yeah im thinking that princes was flying high lol.
there funny creatures.

tempi likes to catch them (they love hanging out by our pond, our fish are too big for them to eat lol) and she catches them brings them to my door, but unlike the headless mice she leaves as sacraficial offerings, she never kills or even hurts the toads...its my job then to get out of my room without the dogs getting mr toad (because i dont want to know how my dogs look high...there odd enough as it is thanks) and 2 how ot get mr toad from my door, back over to neer the pond where he belongs without getting coveredin in smelly toad juice.

they have such funny faces, always look like theyve got some wise crack to make :D
