Walking this morning… Pictures of Ireland

I have the most wonderful dilemma here…. Next to the house across the street from me is a castle. Right in front of the castle is a shop (?!?!?). Between the castle and my neighbouring house is a huge gate. I want to get a pic of most of the castle, but… The shop blocks one side, the gate the other, the pub down the road that angle. If I go round the corner I can see most of it… If I go into someone's backyard, I can get an even better view. But the house with the best view has some HUGE dogs and they are NOT friendly, though I know the owners well. What to do? It's driving me crackers. I've been trying for weeks to figure out how to photograph that darn building.

Oh, the castle's owner is the sweetest old man, but when I asked him all he said was I cannot go close to it, it's dangerous. (It's falling down)

It is! Sorry about the cruddy quality in the second pic, the phone doesn't like zooming in and it puts everything further away than it actually is. It's a beautiful scene, looking down there on the farms.
