It sleeps 16 people and they offer a better rate when you take it for a week. Plus, we're going into "season" now, so they probably hiked the price for that… Last time I checked it definitely wasn't that steep.

Gosh, I'd give unforgettable lessons! lol Short and to the point with the grim and interesting bits :p

What would you like to know? I can ask around locally :) I know of three cottages here with thatch roofs. Most nowadays have tiles.

I wouldn't know where to begin on questions. :idunno

--How long do they last?
--Are they warmer than a normal roof?
--How often are they replaced (if any)?
--Who puts them up?

Is that enough for now?

Sumi, don't bother people with my questions. They are so fascinating and I loved the old-timey look.

The evening walk pictures are beautiful. You have a way with that camera!
