change about yourself? your personality type thing. what do you feel you have to work on to maybe make you a better person?

does anyone have that kinda nagging feeling they need to improve on something about themselves in their lives?

just wondering. I have been thinking alot about this kind of stuff lately

God is working with me on patience. No, I did not ask! Aside from that, it took me 45 years to really like and appreciate myself so I think I'll keep me!:D

I agree with Snapshot...of course there are things I would change about my actions/tendencies and I pray about that daily. But the basic person that I am? I kind of like her. :)

I guess there have been a few times I have made a snide comment about someone, and right after , I have asked God to forgive me. I need to stop myself before I make those comments. But, I DO see how it is wrong right away, so, I ask for forgiveness....so I am on the right path....other than that, I think I am a pretty good old gal. :p

There's not enough room to type it all :p There are lots of things I would change if I could. Most of them are not within my power to change though and probably a good thing! I think we NEED things about ourselves that we don't care for so we will be more understanding of others quirks and vices. Nobody is perfect, and truly I don't want to be. If I never messed up, and was never a lunkhead....how would I ever learn anything else?! There is a certain beautiful quality in fault itself. I think it makes us more reliant on God and each other, and honestly, I'd rather be a flamin idiot than not have the relationships I have with God or others. More specifically God, but I love people too...almost to a fault ;)

I would procrastinate less... I tend to wait until the absolute last minute to get things done and it really doesn't help anything. On the days I do manage to get organized and get everything I need to do done early I feel wonderful and I don't know why I can't seem to do that everyday... instead I end up wasting time and falling behind.

I'm 4 months pregnant and need to gut and re-do four rooms of the house before the baby gets here, including the bathroom... all I've done is pull down three walls in the living room and created a big mess. So I'm mapping out jobs for every day so that I can hold myself accountable to my list or I'm never going to get this done before I'm too enormous to effectively hang drywall or install windows. It's sooooo hard to get anything done when you are trying to look after a one year old... UGH....

I'd be rich.

Oh! Personality type thing, eh? I'd be less critical of people. And smell the roses more often. I'd play more, worry less about crap or things I have no control over.

I have procrastination problems, and a very explosive temper. Just like my dad on that last one, I have been controlling it really well, but here lately i lose it more often. well other than that I'm perfect :D haha yea right
