Wheatgrass and regular Wheat, same thing??

I want to grow some wheat for flour next year and i want to know if wheatgrass for sprouting and regular wheat are the same thing?

Yes, that wheat will work just fine. Only issue you might have is that you might not know what kind of wheat it is......hard red, soft white, etc. Some are better for bread, some are better for pastry, some are better for pasta, etc. Does the bag say what type of wheat it is?

Whatever it is, you will be able to use it. It just helps to know which baked goods you want to emphasize, unless you are growing it to get more sprouting wheat, then you are golden!
