Where to buy wood in NJ

I'm new to wooodworking. I've made a few things using what's available at the big stores.
Now I want to make something with better wood, but I don't know where to find it.
Specifically I have a plan using quartersawn white oak.
I live in New Jersey.
Where do woodworkers in NJ buy wood?

Look under hardwood in the phone book or do a search on the web. I'll bet there are lots of places nearby that sell speciality lumber. Call a local sawmill. I'll bet they know lots of places to fill your needs and empty your wallet.
