New profile posts

Well, howdy Baymule!!! I saw you mention sufficient self on BYH the other day, so I thought I would check it out. I just now joined. I don't have a lot of time, to get online lately, but I will try to look around.
Hi. 420 words aren't enough! I've been reading your profile. I was a Navy corpsman, love the cave bear series, your jewelry, and door rugs. Sorry your basset hound died. :( I was in a canning group (YEARS ago) Only on page 10 so comments seem out of place on your journal. I'll keep reading! :)

Thanks for your condolences on Chloe. We do still miss her occasionally. It takes a long time to read through people's journals, doesn't it? You don't have to read the whole thing, you know (lol). I've been enjoying reading your posts as well. I wish I had gone for something like corpsman when I was in the Navy- the skills would be a lot more useful these days.

I like to read the profile threads through, especially when I can read all the way through. It gives me a good feel of who the person is, what's important in their life, and how they think. Then when I read a single reply, I have a better idea of where they're coming from. :)
I'd love the links. I try to limit my time online so it'll take me a while to read them, but I'll get to them. (It's why I'm not a member at more forums).
Now if I could just convince DH and DS that the cat and the dog would be sooo much "happier" outside! ;)
You mentioned a granddaughter. My 2 live in Wisconsin but one will be with me for the next 3 weeks (starting Saturday). Can't wait!
