Not really - we have almost an entire shelf full of peppers in the deep freezer. I bet I gave away 3 times as many as we put up. It was a great year for peppers and I'm completely burnt out on stuffed and Philly cheese steak peppers. I'm kind of glad to see them go actually.
If anyone would like some of my crossed bell pepper (green & red) seeds for starting next year send me a conversation and I'll send you some via USPS. Warning though they grow tall and need to be supported.

I have never had good luck with bell type peppers... but I can grow the heck out of jalapenos. Don't have any idea what the difference is - but that's the way it is here...

That's exactly what I grew this year bells and jalapenos. I've found out that bells like their feet rather dry, with good drainage. Whereas other types of peppers seems to prefer moist feet. I've tried to mulch bells and it stunted their growth. Now I grow them at the head of the garden which is on the high side of the hill. I no longer mulch them and it has vastly improved my yeilds and overall growth. When I water the garden (rarely) I skip right over the bells. Hope that helps.

Good to know, I've never had luck with them either. I won't bother growing them again though, I'm the only one in the family that likes them.

Ok sorry for the delay in getting photos. I have a house full of sick people I have a bad feeling im next!
Thats how our freezer looked in OK. A friend of ours have like 100 pepper plants of all kinds and didnt have room for them so we froze alot of them and ate them in soups, chillis and crockpot meals.
Ok got the little bugger. He is hard to get a photo of... this is the best i could get lol

My vote is, you have a good insect pictured there- the milkweed assassin bug. I only say this because it's antenni is longer than the bad leaf-footed bug. I wouldn't kill it, I believe it's a good bug to have around.
