Coffee is ready! I got my truck back Saturday! My sister in law drove it home for me, I followed in my car. Sunday morning I walked past the front of my car, going to church, and saw droplets all over the front of it. Phooey. Truck is still leaking, probably oil. They found a leak and fixed it, but evidently there is another. So after church I hooked up my stock trailer for a test drive. Sure enough, there were sprinkles on the trailer. Talked to my son, he said I might be oil that was spilled but to check oil often and keep an eye on it.

🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

DH SAID::: spilled oil would not spray, it either sticks to what its on or if its on something that heats up you would smell it. Call the place that fixed it, might be something didnt get tightened down and its all leaking out. ? is there any on the ground under it?

Sewer ran real slow last night. The best neighbor a guy could ask for and I fixed it. Tree roots busted into the line between the house and septic. My neighbor said it only takes a little hole then the roots grow inside the pipe like a fan and eventually will plug up the pipe. Plenty of water and fertlize to grow big healthy roots. Thats exactly what happened... we pulled a good three foot of tree roots out of the pipe. It was packed in the pretty tight. We found where we believed it was by the the wet ground wet and dug it out by hand. We ended up replacing a 20 inch section of 4 inch PVC. FB is glad to be able to use the water again :)

I agree. It’s the same spray pattern it was before I took it in to be fixed. They fixed a different leak. LOL It’s not as bad of a spray pattern, but it’s still there.

Coffee! It’s a nice day today, cloudy, high of 85. Supposed to be rainy the rest of the week.

@The Porch I’m sorry your husband is having pain in his hip.
gosh , mechanics, I will be praying they will get it all taken care of.
DH does not say when he has an issue,, he -thinks is it sparing me from worry :caf🙃 even though I watch him like a hawk.
I was just about done remopping when he said he was going out back and going to get started on cleaning up from taking the trees down off the back deck,, I hurried up and finished what I was doing and went in and grabbed my boots. His projects become my projects. I dont want him over doing and hurt himself, or, trip and fall, or.........
So we (I) lifted and moved the rounds as we pulled limbs and stacked them to be chipped. That cedar is heavy, he did trip once but didnt fall. we worked for about what seamed 2 hours, took a lunch break at noon and he went out to finish the bit that was left. I cleaned up lunch and rehung stuff on the walls then grabbed a rake and did the fine tuning on the rest of the pile. He rested the rest of the day, he needs to feel useful and I dont tell him no to do stuff, :love

The sun will be up soon, its a chilly 45 outside and a steady cold 63 inside, I think I need to check the flock today and make sure we are still mite free. As soon as we are done with construction I need to do a dog spa day. DD # 3 wants to maybe drive up for the weekend. A premothers day visit. She has a full schedule the following week and cant come then.

Have a great Tuesday!

getting Mom to take it easy and to let her recover and rest is very hard. she pretty much does not listen to me. which is hard later when she's complaining about pain, but in the end every person has to pick their path through life and you can help them as much as you can, but mostly i try to stay out of the way.

by me taking over all the mowing now that will help her the most and that is what i can do so it will be done... err, well, sorta, i forgot to mow a bit yesterday so i'll have to do a makeup mow sometime this week.

Each person has their own level of "need" to be useful, productive, etc. Often we can only help by slyly doing parts of "their" jobs ahead of time. Leaving just some touch ups for them. 😊

Pretty much there's a mindset that says "we still can" but body can't. :idunno we age out. Bodies lose strength.

Now I refuse to do that gracefully but have accepted some jobs/chores are more difficult. There's a bit of compromise and more accomodations -- slower, or more equipment, less at a time, downsize, etc. Jobs get done.
