Super cool! Just like I did it. So VERY glad that you are doing a picture journal of the process. Maybe it will encourage others to join in.
Really and truly the fleshing (or scraping off the fat and tissue) is the worst part - the rest was a blast!
Also wanted to throw in there...

Bought my salt bulk at Tractor Supply. :ep Fine white stock salt and or iodized salt in a 50 pound bag.
I am sure my death is imminent from consuming animal feeds. :lau :gig
SHHH. Don't tell anyone ... I use a big old antique kitchen scale for all of my soap making measurements. :hide It is a dial faced scale and did I mention :old old? This baby is still darned accurate, so why oh why do I need a new one.

1) Pack up peppers for my friend.
2) Take friend to doctor.
3) Grocery store.
4) Visit Dad.
5) Lunch with daughter
Hopefully I will have better luck today. :)

Do you notice any similarities in these two situations? Why is it that you are always...
You need to do it in small batches when you use a blender. I much prefer using my food processor to whiz my soap.
Also remember to use some of the powder (I use the borax) with the pre-grated soap. That keeps the machine from getting gunked up. The first time I tried it I tried chunks of...
