My two are going to "Freezer Camp" soon. I already paid for them with feed and work! Feed is $11/bag and I've used about 20 bags already.
Feeding them twice a day cramps your style if you are employed away from home though. No vacations either.

WW picked about half of the florets on the hops stool and put them in the dehydrator. The house smelled like hops for the whole day. Once dried they will go into the freezer for storage until I can get the time to make some malt brew that requires hops.
Most of the work being done has been...
Good Morning,
This subject is one that attracts a lot of attention, usually at moments of levity but in your current planning scenario, it is obviously a great concern. As others have said, it is a space hog. You mentioned putting it in Vacuum space bags and that will allow a lot less space to...
Interesting approach. Seems like those two gals are working to get people to think ahead, assuming they are who they say they are. (I am always skeptical of anyone who wants to know about what others are doing in this regard, particularly since you can't really know who you are talking to).
the...
Well, unfortunately HAM radios are NOT cheap. You can expect to pay quite a bit for two of them, even if you buy them with only two bands. Look at the website for HAM Radio Outlet (HRO). That will give you better information than I can at the moment because I have'nt bought any radios for...
I am relieved to hear you are OK. Laying a big bike down is NEVER fun. Fortunately, in all my years of riding, it happened only once but that once was enough to "get my attention".
I was coming down a steep hill with a 7-11 store at the bottom of the hill. An old man and his wife were in a...
Ditto!
As long as there is no EMP to which your set is exposed, you will be able to communicate by HAM radio. Of course right now you need a "license" to use it. In an emergency of the magnitude you are expecting (and I share that concern) you will need a pair of powerful sets with agreed...
I'm on my second year with pigs. Started with 2 last year, got them a little late and sent them to the butcher in December. Had some frosty days to contend with but otherwise, they were fairly easy to keep.
The trick was making the pen "pig-proof" You know what they say; "Fence should be...
My guess is that you will be pleasantl surprised that your neighbors will "rise to the occasion". It is a funny thing, but we Americans have a "bone" deep inside that wakes up in times of severe adversity. Strangers on the other hand may not be as dependable and will need to be carefully...
Might be a good idea for the "Silent Majority" to write some rebuttal to that rather than just tolerate the destruction of our society by these Communist do-gooder-liberals who think they are "right"!
I say go for it. Speak up or WE LOSE! Tell your friends to speak up too!

That is exactly what I have been studying. It makes the most sense. the counterweight clock is what I have been looking into because it has less moving parts and does NOT need special metal to work...just weight.

Priority: Urgent
Perhaps you are susceptible to what is known as "Flicker Vertigo". We worry about that in pilots because of the consequences of disorientation of a pilot. (need I expand on THAT? )
In your situation you can always avoid going through there. Flicker vertigo can induce seizure...
You really are suited to that job. Perhaps you should reconsider leaving and make it into something. You certainly seem to have a knack for that kind of work and you sound happier since you started there.

I think a guy named John wrote about this in his book of Revelations. Seems he was rather clear on it.
