Hi, I came across this article and wanted to know if anyone has experience doing this.

Another new baby. Dh brought him home from work. A co worker found it. Ds is thrilled with his new friend. Not much else new around here. Busy moving birds from brooder to grow out pens and getting ready to process 5 of my leghorn roos. The weather is finally cooling off so hopefully I can get...
We had a light lesson load today. To many things around here drawing our attention.Hubby brought home an orphan squirrel Friday for DS to care for. He is very excited and distracted. Trying to do school work with a critter on the table is hard.
I have tried all butter and also tried mixing shortening and butter as per the recipe. I haven't bought any lard. I read somewhere what kind not to get and know I don't remember.
I just want biscuits that are fluffy and light. Instead I get crumbly hockey pucks every time. Wh do they never turn out for me. I follow the recipe but it hates me. :hit
I shut down my extra freezer and started washing dishes by hand instead of using the dishwasher. I am also back to hanging clothes to dry. I got lazy using the dryer for a while.
Your place is beautiful! Thanks for sharing pictures, it is nice to see others progress. I am still limping along with the garden and learning as I go.
