    Wow, great pictures. Your garden looks so green and seems to be producing very well. The hutch is a fantastic find. I can just see the jars all filled up with peas and beans. Great job on the canning as well. g

    How do you store your extra feed?

    Check your local Craigslist for metal barrels. I bought mine locally used but pristine condition for 8 bucks each. One 55 gallon metal barrel holds about 6 50lb bags. G

    Feed and food prices are supposed to skyrocket again

    Prices are on the up swing here as well. The 25# bag of sugar I bought for canning was 3 bucks more than usual. There are still some good deals but you have to look hard. My Azure Standard order goes in next week. Perhaps I will order a bit more bulk grain. As for some of your bulk prices...

    Packaging birds.

    Yes I ordered mine directly from the web sight. I use the boiling water method. The trick is to be sure to twist them up tight and dry the plastic before adding the label. The label is used to cover the puncture hole/ air escape. Last time I ordered them the turkey bags were all sold out...
