Wow, great pictures. Your garden looks so green and seems to be producing very well. The hutch is a fantastic find. I can just see the jars all filled up with peas and beans.
Great job on the canning as well.

Check your local Craigslist for metal barrels. I bought mine locally used but pristine condition for 8 bucks each. One 55 gallon metal barrel holds about 6 50lb bags.

Prices are on the up swing here as well. The 25# bag of sugar I bought for canning was 3 bucks more than usual. There are still some good deals but you have to look hard.
My Azure Standard order goes in next week. Perhaps I will order a bit more bulk grain.
As for some of your bulk prices...

Do you have a...
BB, you should definitely see a wattle forming on the turkeys neck by now, does it have the little bulbous parts on the bottom?
Congrats on cleaning the garage, do you want to come help with mine??? ;)

Yes I ordered mine directly from the web sight. I use the boiling water method. The trick is to be sure to twist them up tight and dry the plastic before adding the label. The label is used to cover the puncture hole/ air escape.
Last time I ordered them the turkey bags were all sold out...
