    Ideas/ways to re-use/recycle "rubbish"?

We do live in a very toss away society! It's very sad :'( So much that would be used for something else just gets tossed is horribly sad. There are some things that just are done and no more use but way too much that could be reused or recycled or repurposed even!! Paper like magazines and mail...

I think you could probably use whole cherries split apart too but i took the cherry pits (from pitting cherries for canning/dehydrating) put them in a container, however many I could and poured vinegar to top of container, shook a few times and let sit overnight or a few hours, in the morning...

Well! The end of this year is coming up fast it feels like! Twinnie and dbf and II went to a butcher class the other day and learned how to process ducks and I will defiantly say- it was much easier this time than when we had the roosters. I also know how we are going to set up for butcher days...

    Sugar free options?

Stevia sounds awesome! Wonder how well it would convert for canning, as it is much sweeter than regular sugar?

I like for soda replacement cherry pit vinegar! :) lil bit goes aways too! Also could do a ginger simple syrup (or any fruit I'd imagine) to mix with water or seltzer :D Glad he's willing to work with it and try out diet change! It's a hard path, especially when depression is involved!

    Best foodstuff to stockpile?

Having one or two root celler/storm cellars hidden on property is good as well (if your property has available space. Crawl space and attics as well work, though it's have to be dry goods (as many attics get warm I think)
