I have a pampered chef on and have had it for about 12 years. Never had a problem with it, and have't evenhad to replace theblade, even though I do use it every year for apple season, and the occasional apple pie/crumble.

    Can you actually eat crow?

They are incredibly smart birds, so not that easy to hunt. A nearby town has such difficult time with crows in the winter, so hunting them in our neck of the woods is quite popluar. They hang out in groups (don't know the proper word for it.) there are a few scouts who go out to look forfood...

Ideas for using up the sourdough starter tht you are supposed to dump.

Yes, but there are people new to sourdough, and it can get kind of overwhelming until you have done it for a bit. I figured a separate thread would make it easier to find. Sorry if you feel differently.

Get out of my yard you darn kids!

These are 16' trees. And a few branches. I did not get the impression that these were vandals, just kids who wanted to climb a tree. But I digress. I tend not to worry or rant over things like this, but rather do something about it, besides rant. That is all I'm saying. I might be a bit...

    Bartering, Do You Do IT....?

Bartered our old riding lawnmower and a snowblower, both motors run well, but need other mechanical work to get them going again, --for a chainsaw. Our neighbour, who is retired, likes to piddle with thtings like those, and gave us a reconditioned (by him) fairly new chainsaw. Win win :D

Ideas for using up the sourdough starter tht you are supposed to dump.

I try not to dump my sd starter when I need to feed it. Sometimes I just increase the amount of flour to it if I am not going to use it that day. Today, I made 4 pizza crusts. Recipe: Sourdough Pizza dough 1 1/2 cups sd starter 1 1/2 cups flour 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp salt a bit of water as...
