But all that at once! Is there any food left on the list when you eliminate what they cant have! I remember how hard it was to find ANYTHING in the store my daughter could have I can't imagine the "no go" list you have. Oh well, thats what real cookbooks are for.
My guess is that it was a combination of heat and humidity. Rabbits just don't handle it well. I've lost several on days that I didn't think were hot but looking back they were also humid days.
You could if you wanted to take the time to cut it up. Out here in the desert it is more of a shrub. Nothing much thicker than your thumb. Now when we lived in South/central Tx the mesquite were trees. They grow like oaks. We just don't get the rain here for that. Maybe 10" a year.
I haven't read the article yet, but from what y'all are saying I'll have to when I have a bit more time.. My asthma has been causing me issues here lately. Had an allergic reaction to my asthma meds after 5yrs and this blasted smoke isn't helping matters any.
I gave up with trying to talk the hens out of eating the eggs and just built a roll out nest box. They still get one occosionally. My biggest offender became my husbands horse. She learned how to open the compartment and was stealing the eggs. Had to put a latch on it.
I was just watching the news and they were showing Vice President Biden talking about how they are working to have crops that don't depend on soil, water or fertilizer to thrive. Anyone have a clue of what he is talking about?
