I've got a Kombucha starter kit ordered and it should be here by the end of the week! :fl Wanted to make my own but cannot find the raw, organic Kombucha locally.
Since I'm reading everything I can find on it, I thought I'd add some of the threads that I found here on the forum to this one...
Well, we had more rain again last night. It was such a light, gentle one that I had no idea it was happening until I took Cheyenne out for a potty break around midnight and noticed that the ground was wet!
So, since it rained, the beds were still too wet to mess in so I followed Debs'...
From our own personal experience with a cattle panel hoop coop, a lot would depend on what the winters are like as far as using this type of "shed" for wood storage. Our hoop coop sheds rain, just fine but not so much with snow. The "roof" caved in on ours with the first good snow that we had...
I nearly "cleaned a friends clock" when he thought it would be funny to pinch my rear in AutoZone. :gig Doc and I were standing in line at the check-out, minding our own business. Next thing I know, someone gives me the tiniest pinch and the flames flew from my toes to the top of my head. :somad...

I'm so glad that it isn't going to be raining tomorrow so that I can get outside and get caught up with garden/yard projects. I'm glad for the inch of wet stuff we've gotten over the past 2 days but I am sooo ready to get outside and...
You are so welcome! :D
Doc and I were the only ones in the family who didn't get sick last year, due to taking the stuff. We should have caught the crud from them since we see them about twice a week.
Well, dinner is devoured so it's time to get crackin' on the bread... :D
Here's the fire cider tonic recipe:
I'll making myself a cup of tea with it, after I eat dinner. ;)
Once dinner is done, I'm going to try that bread recipe and managed to talk myself into doing 2 loaves. Doc will hopefully be bringing home ginger and horseradish roots in the morning so that I...
^^^Amen to that, sister! :hugs
It was so wet, cold and windy last night that I considered grabbing a bottle of our homemade pear wine and coming over to visit you! Be glad I decided it was probably too far to walk! :gig
