@The Porch you don't want a "mini" cow. Depending on their background, you could have real calving issues -- plus finding a bull. Look into the smaller breeds...Dexter, milking Devon, small Jersey. Preferably one that's fresh with calf on side and been trained to milk. Big $$ but proven...

I buy tea & coffee -- my comfort indulgence but, deserved!! After all, I grow & preserve veggies, milk goats for dairy, make cheeses, raise chickens for eggs, meat & bug control, meat goats for that. I can buy tea & coffee 🤣 but I do like sale prices.

I use a large riding mower to pull cart.

Wonderful warm today. So appreciate kids bottle feeding with just a light jacket needed. Couple stalls to clean out. Should have done last week but never above freeze temps nixed that! I'll get them this week, dump into garden, till in another time. Back to work a couple days this week...

I use my bread machine often. Only me to eat it, so works...and lot less than making a couple big leaves in oven. Faster, less mess too 🙂

:lol: my goats ate my orchard attempts -- 3 times. Broke fences to get in, even ones around each tree. ‼️ Orchards not happening here. Hard to believe. 15 acres & trees but, they wanted my apple, fig & blueberry 😞. Good taste.

I have a smaller, battery sprayer. Bought for garden to spray more, longer at one fill...3 gal. I use all organic but some days you just need the speed, amount & help these little things bring. 😄 It's also good to spray water on small areas plus if burning trash, wood, etc. I keep it full...

Weather reports say a whole week of 50s for daytime :celebrate I feel we earned it!! 💪 😄 Nights above freeze!! Wow...last half of Jan is great. I'll worry about Feb another day. 🤣 Gardening starts will be my goal.

Warming trend -- back to our "normal" winter. 21 now, going to mid 40s 👍 sunny out. Time to deal with the snow leftovers from too cold to deal with. Found my gloves, once snow melted. 🤣 Feed bags need to go to the dump, hay strings to organize, pick up, etc. dump some buckets of ice bricks...
