What did you do in your garden today?

Not much to do with the garden. We're under a blizzard watch until the 3rd. I was trying to thin out my carrots and just got frustrated so I said forget it and went out and pulled a bunch of stuff for the rabbits.

Got my cool weather crops planted. More onions also. Pulled the strawberry and cilantro plants then added more soil to the pot then replanted them. Have more potatoes to plant in the green house, maybe tomorrow. Rain is coming back Thursday.

She's 14 and this is the first time she has ever been excited about gardening. I will be helping her out with her garden just to make sure she doesn't get discouraged about it.

Today I gave my youngest granddaughter some vegetable seeds to plant. She got really excited about planting her own garden. I told her as long as she takes good care of it she will be able to pick her own veggies from her own garden. I started cleaning my hen den. After I get it done I will get...

My parents had to evacuate their house because of the spillway damage. We have a lot of people in the area that had to do the same thing. I was so out of my mind for about 3 days.

She's filling up quick with the rain and snow melt. Unless the summer is mild this year it won't last.

I'm pretty close to Redding California and we're still getting the rain fall. It's supposed to clear up in the next few days but it's just what we need in Northern California due to the drought we've been getting. I'm hoping all the rain will help my garden do better than last year.

It's crabgrass. She told me that herself. I just looked at her like wtf thinking why would anyone decide to plant weeds in their yard.

We were able to but we had to keep stopping to clean the tines on the tiller bc of the crabgrass 😠. The lady that we bought the property from decided to plant that after removing the hot tub. It sucks knowing that ppl are so ignorant to believe that crabgrass is a grass not a weed. 😡GGGRRRR

The weather has been good for quite a while but I know there's more rain coming. I'm probably going to be bringing my girls back in the house again. I will also have to put my pitbull female back on the front porch to keep her out of the water. I hope it doesn't get that bad.
