My new avatar is my back yard from last winter. That's the crazy that I had to deal with and generally I was always alone. So not good

Indeed it's always on my mind. I'm keeping my chickens in the house until the next storm passes over. They were soaked to the point of not being able to flap their wings let alone fly.

Today the weather cleared up and I was able to get the girls back outside. I managed to get a small portion of the run covered so hopefully they won't get as soaked.

Got another inch to inch and a half of rain coming this weekend. I’m still driving through water in two places to get in and out to the paved road.

We will have decent weather till next week sometime but for now I am happy with the dryness.

The weather has been good for quite a while but I know there's more rain coming. I'm probably going to be bringing my girls back in the house again. I will also have to put my pitbull female back on the front porch to keep her out of the water. I hope it doesn't get that bad.

The weather man lied. We got 5”. My car is at the neighbors house. I can’t even drive home. But I can take the Kawasaki mule to their house, get in my care and carefully drive to the paved road. Sunshine today, we sure need it.

That puddle wasn't there this morning at 10:30. I'm over the rain.
