In fact have several questions Before cages. I was thinking mounting cages up where I can care for them, but I'm seeing folks talk about rabbit 'tractors'. How do you keep them from coming down with (can't remember which desease)? Have followed Teal Homestead a bit
I raised a couple with my daughter years ago. Today however approaching with meat in mind, a little overwhelmed with basics of getting started. For instance... where do I buy quality cages that are large enough? Local mindset is, why not go shoot a wild rabbit or nobody eats rabbits! :)
Okay. What breed of goat do you have? I'm 65 and not naturally strong... but won't hesitate to use tools/skills to compensate. However, have been concerned about milk goats having a 'fragile' reputation.

Great for almonds, walnuts, plums and cherry but locals think I'm loco for wanting to grow these, let alone from seed!
Have a lot to learn about chokeberries. Settled here several years ago. 'Discovering' treasure weeds and trees out here this year. Goal of seed planted trees.
Am following your progress. Also want trees that will survive/thrive here. (MS) Soil is in sad shape. Doing a controlled burn, cover crop. Slow process.
