My homestead is divided into three places. Our home in town, my DGK's place(they have 13 layers)' and my SIL's where my big garden is. We have no other animals as of yet. I am slowly getting away from processed foods even though My DH still has to have his bologna every now and then.

Nothing! All I have left to do is pears and they aren't quite ready yet. I have frozen fruit and canned juice to make into jams and jellies. So since I'm caught up my DH and I are going to Brown County to stay in a cabin for the long weekend.:ya

Our garden did really good. It's on higher ground so it didn't get flooded any. We don't have any animals except our dog Jack. I would really like to have some, maybe someday in the future. Thanks for the warm welcome. diny

You can use old sheers to cover your food with. The sun gets thru and keeps bugs out.
