It took us a little over 3 years to find our place. We have some health issues to consider so that cut out allot of places. We must have seen 30 places! We put in about 4 or 5 offers that got rejected but we could go no higher. Oddly, the house 1 door down and across the street was one we looked...
A few years ago there was a warning around here (Wisconsin) about letting hunting dogs (or any dog) go in ponds with blur-green algae. I guess it killed a few dogs.
Thanks for the info! I will look into it.
When you get your cabinet I hope you post some pics.!
At first I was looking for fancy, interesting bottles for tinctures too. Then I started running into some of the issues you mentioned. They also held so many different amounts and some didn't fit...
HI All,
OK, first time I looked at this thread but have been working with herbs for about 30 years, not counting the "little bit" our family used that I thought everyone knew about. Anyway, from what little I read it seems you do have some good books and I'm always looking for good ones I don't...

DD.... Thanks for checking it out! I had not seen it before and since there was a phone number I thought it might be true. (Perhaps it was at one point) I normally check stuff like that out too, but the way the economy is now days, and as strange as some people are.... well, it got me!
I saw this in one of my other forums......

I think you have a good start there. I would keep her confined and let her out for a few minutes a day while you clean out her cage/pen, but in a small area where she can't try to fly or run. The comfrey is a good idea.
Bird heal pretty well when given a chance.
If the Wyandotte is full or nearly full grown, she will probably be head hen after a while. Sorry for your little EE. Glad she has the NH to help her out. When I expanded my flock the first time I had one PR that was guarded by 2 Australorps. It will take a bit but they will work it out...
I love the old gadgets I grew up with. I learned to cook before all this electric, fancy stuff came along so I found it harder to adapt to the "new" stuff. It's often quicker and easier to get out a small gadget than a processor. I love some of my little gadgets so much that when they finally...
