Lost a dog today...

She was hit by a car. I don't recall ever having such a good dog. She was 4 months shy of 3 years old. Sad day on the farm. Feel like the wind has been taken out of my sails. Her fur-sister (pictured), human-sisters, human-brother, and mommy and daddy are sure going to miss her.

Yep....a picture is worth a thousand words. It can be hard. I've had a few good dogs in my time and a few meatballs, so I understand. A good dog is a treasure.
