'09-10 hunting season review...

A buck 8pt, doe, two turkeys (spring), some rabbits. how bout you?

I got a nice 9 pt this year, second day of the season, only out 45 minutes! Was the first time I wore short sleeves, it was that warm out this year! Havent been rabbit hunting yet but hope to soon.

I got a nice doe muzzlelaoder. Missed one doe, passed up a four pointer, and my brother missed a 4 pointer. I also went duck, grouse, and woodcock hunting almost everyweekend in october.

Nice deer pics, I was lucky enough to get a nice 10 point buck and son got a 7 pointer, and then a nice doe, so 3 deer total . A couple squirrels and that was about it for this hunting season. Oh, I also picked up a nice button buck hit by a car but not killed, I had to finish him off, not tore up to bad.

I got diddly squat, in spite of almost two months of every weekend traipsing around the mountains. My whole family, squat! Better luck next year I guess... I would sure love some good meat though!
