We are not the "win something out of the blue" types so this was a big surprise. While the bike is the only thing that could count as SS, not having to listen to hubby b!tch about the bathroom constantly will free up a lot of my time and energy :gig

Sounds like a cool store. Farm supplies, bathroom fixtures and bikes. I don't think I'd ever leave!
We try to remember the TSC survey because we could do some serious shopping with a gift card from there!

Buy big "end of season" tools on sale and resale them for cash to put toward the car  Seriously...I would in a heartbeat after buying all the little things needed. You could probably even sell the gift card and apply that to the car :hu
Yeah... I'm going to have to vote against this. There's too much risk of not getting your money back. And there would be a lot of ads you'd have to keep up with. It'll cost you a lot in time, even if you do manage to break even.

I'd stock up on car maintenance supplies, clothing, footwear, and other stuff that keeps well that you'll certainly need in the future.

This was only an option to get cash built up for the car anyway, IF they wanted a way to cash it in. ;) And it was FREE money so even if they lost a bit(which should be expected) they'd still be better fof than if they hadn't signed up for the drawing.

I liked the bathroom idea anyway. :)

Congrats on the bike WZ! :D
