I REALLY like your last on Sebrightmom, "Play with the kids". That should be on more lists! :thumbsup

Today ...

1. Reinspect truck (had to have a light replaced by hubby last night)
2. New tags at DMV.
3. Call friend about chicken feet. (I couldn't get with her yesterday)
4. Work on a gift basket to donate to the nursing home as a fund raiser.
5. Go visit Dad.

My hip is really sore and not moving today, so I hope I can actually accomplish this list ... if not there is always tomorrow.

Today's list:

1. Call Dr's office to get a follow-up appt after ER visit last with 8YO - no concussion, but quite the bump on her head. done
2. Dishes done - kinda, oh dish fairy....
3. Laundry yeah, didn't even get to it
4. Call extension office to find local 4-H club to join figured out which one, but no meeting, yet[/b
]5. Beg Dad to come over and get the kids off the bus tomorrow from 4K while taking 8YO in to doctor. He will, but doesn't feel good. Bus won't drop off the kids unless someone is outside to get them. I love my Dad. Of course, he came over to do this.

Today:

1. Take kid to Dr's appt, then to school, then go to hubby's work for health risk assessment, to find out I'm fat - I knew that!
2. Clean tomato cages and soaker hoses from the garden.
3. Cut grass - hopefully for the last time
4. Pick some apples, need to dehydrate more and can a whole buncha stuff
5. Put the 1st 18 pints of applesauce away.

Is is cheating to come up with the list, AFTER you've finished your day? It was so gorgeous out today that after we got home, it HAD to turn into an outside day. Supposed to turn crummy weather-wise rest of the week.

This little plan time everyday seems to be helping to keep me on track. Days that I don't post here are a lot more haphazard.

For today ...

1. Spend some quality time with my big old kid. He is a little down right now and needs it.
2. Take Sage to Pet Smart and make a new ID tag for him and Cassie. (I want the flat kind that bolt to the collar)
3. Work on the turnips that my friend brought me last night and also take care of some walnuts that she brought that need de-husked. (I am thinking about putting them in an old onion bag and leaving them in the driveway to mush with the truck.) :/
4. Pull my carrots that were growing in patio pots and re-plant those pots with greens for winter.
5. Go to store and see if I can find the GF Bisquick mix that is supposed to be there. My hubby is hungry for dumplins'.

1. Get the kitchen clean - I've been avoiding it long enough (mostly done)

2. Do at least 3 loads of laundry - a week of rain last week has me so far behind its not funny. The joys of relying on the clothesline! DONE!)

3. Plan my October menu - I had this finished all ready, but I've gone from working 3 evenings a week to 6 so I really need to come up with some dinner ideas that I can throw in the crock pot or do ahead of time so I'm not finishing supper at 9pm. (Umm...didn't even get started)

4. Get pictures of all my Jersey heifers. - I'm trying to get them all sold so we can buy a Guernsey cow. (Mostly done, some just didn't cooperate)

5. Go to work. (On my way)
