@MoonShadows when we came over the first time, a few months before that snowfall, we asked a few people if it snows here in winter. We were down in West Cork at the time. Everyone responded with: "It NEVER snows here! But it did 2 years ago." And then of course it snowed…
About a week after that snow we picked up a hitchhiker and I asked him if he thinks we'll be getting any more snow? He immediately responded: "It NEVER snows here! But it did 2 years ago."
He was a bit put out when I burst out laughing. But gosh it was funny.
