Very cool! I just love the hummers. Last summer, my son and I was holding the feeders, and the hummers were perching on our fingertips. VERY neat experience. I think my heart was beating as fast as theirs! LOL

Oh, we have lots of humming birds here but I've never seen a nest! too cool!!!

Too bad you can't stick your thumb near their heads...I'd love to see how small the chicks are!

Maybe tomorrow when the mom is away, I can try to do that. Momma gets upset when people go to close to the nest, and she is always nearby. I have to get on a step stool to get photos, even at that I can't see in the nest. I have to hold the camera way above my head to get the photos of the nest.

I went to check on the baby chickadee I knew about, and it was gone. So, I guess it's already flown the coop, and I never got a pic. :hit Glad you're getting pics of these babies.

Ok... I put a new picture with my thumb so you can see how tiny they are. It is at the bottom of the Original Post.
