I'm going to look at and test drive this 454 6 pack 4 speed, whiplash making beast tomorrow. If everything checks out I'll most likely buy it. I already informed the CEO (wife). She wants a ride

My dad had one almost exactly like this when I was a kid. Its the first car I ever drove (with my dad in the sitting in the passenger seat).

I've been looking for one for many years, to give to my dad. Ain't it beautiful?

It's to give to my dad. And your right... The owner said its a 454. I'm not after matching numbers.

That's awesome that you're doing that for your dad. I only asked about the engine because my ex was an engine builder and dealt with primarily GM products so the 454 engine is something I'm familiar with....

We shall see tomorrow, its cheaply priced @ $7,500 and that makes me really suspicious.

Make sure its not stolen. My ex boss bought a car years ago. When he went to register it, he found out it was stolen. He lost the car and the money he spent to buy it

Gorgeous car. Yeah, it could have some deal breaker mechanical issues. Good idea to run the vin to be sure it is not stolen!

Yep... Thanks - I'll call the police station while I'm there and have them check the VIN.
