I like the simplicity of switches, buttons and dials, slides were even better. I dont like a vehicle that thinks for it'self, because, it's almost always wrong. Touchscreen controls is crazy talk to me. 20 taps to get some air conditioning when, I need to go somewhere now and i'm sitting here sweating my you know what off because it's cold outside and it thinks i need heat. And yes depending on what I got called away from, i'm more than likley sweating, even in winter 🤪

Not here in Michigan. All is lakes yet still they call it beach, I always knew it as lakefront, 😆 🤣

By the way, was listening to something on the History channel that said the there is like a hard basin under the whole state of Michigan and Lake Michigan and under that basin is believe to be salt water. Who never knew that there is a sea under the sink, 😆 🤣

i'm not sure if there is that much salt water down that deep but there are certainly layers of salt and coal underneath us here and all through mid-Michigan. most people who put in wells end up with salty water - we were lucky because we are right in the middle of the local area groundwater flow.

i also don't want automatic locks on doors or automatic windows. just more things to break. it just happened today that Mom accidentally locked the car and the spare key is also in the car, but we'd just popped the trunk so i was able to unlock the seats and then crawl through the trunk and then the back seat to get to the keys sitting in the front console. i'd mentioned to her before that having the spare key in there was kinda defeating the purpose of having a spare key... i was surprised at how well i was able do that crawl - it was kinda fun... :)

We each have keys for a vehicle with a spare in the wallet. I added that to my wallet after I locked myself out at a poultry show and had to call a locksmith.

for my entire life i always kept a spare key in my pocket so i would not lock myself out of my cars/truck... one day i go to the car wash and did not have the key in my pocket and said to myself to not lock the door to the car. i left the car running, got out, locked the door and then pushed it closed and of course just as i push the door i yell, "NoooO!" had to get someone come unlock the door while plugging up that car wash stall so nobody else could go through. after seeing how the guy unlocked the door i wondered why anyone bothered to lock them - it was way too easy.
