Me: Hi, My name's Trim and I'm a farmer.
Group: Hi Trim!
Me: Well it all started with just a little garden about 6 x 6. Everything I wanted to eat was in there. Then I started with adding a few more vegetables and my family started to notice. When I started putting in strawberry's, SO began to see a pattern. First it was vegetables, then it was garden rakes and weeder contraptions. Before you knew what was happening, I was hooked. I couldn't go a day without gardening. Pretty soon, I was digging up more of the yard until there wasn't any place to walk without stepping on my vegetables. That wasn't too bad but then we moved to another place and had a much bigger piece of land. SO became concerned when I went out and got a Ford 1310 tractor and began plowing...Now, I am on 35 acres and it is getting more serious. I went out and got chickens (10 of them) then it was a pair of steers, then a bred cow...now it's 2 bred heifers, 1 steer and there are 2 hogs coming, 2 donkey's coming (one bred) and then there are the sheep.
Group: Wo dude...you are hooked. Have you considered doing all 12 steps?

By the way, what does "Frippery" mean?

I've been thinking about it and I am going to have to re-consider membership in FA...seems that the meetings are a bit far to travel for me being in South Dakota and all...LOL

Me me me!! I hope you don't mind *another* chicken person, but I have a lot of useful info! Because well, I'm the one with the (rare) chicken vet lol!

I've also ridden horses for...16 years.
