Its in pretty rough shape. I dont know what this one is worth.
I am begining to accumulate a small lot of antique tools. I plan on getting an old wooden tool box for my collection

Well an older lady gave me a bunch of old rusty tools the other day.
I got this plane from her . It was badly rusted and the handle was broken. All the parts were frozen together. It had been in the floor of an old barn for what looked like 20 years. I got the rust off but its still badly pitted, fixed the handle, sharpened it up and it works!
Now that i can see the name and numbers i googled them. Its a millers falls no. 7. Made between 1929 and 1944. In good shape they are going for $250. If i had known i wouldnt have touched it. Lol

that plane is pretty cool. Even fixed up, it is worth more than you paid for it. :p (it was free, if I recall correctly)
I love old tools, when I hold them in my hand I just wonder who else held it and what they made with them.

I love old tools. For each power tool, I try to have it's non electrical equivalent. Love your planer. My Daddy had one, but Mom got rid of a lot of his stuff and I didn't know it.

hand tools require time, patience and thinking about whet you are doing. Power tools give you what you want NOW. Thought and patience goes out the window.

The damage wasnt as bad as i thought. We only lost half the crop. Still ended up with 2 buckets to shell. This is just the start of the canning
