Just put the final touches on the rabbit ventilation system. The wife is making pickles for the first time. We had zucchini boats for dinner. Very good!

Life is good on the homestead

I heard about someone making "mock" apple rings out of large zucchinis. I'm hoping to get some to try canning some for the winter. I know I've made "mock" apple pie out of zucchini and it was really good (just remember to take out the seeds!).

Storm came threw last night. 70mph winds laid all the corn and tomatoes down. Some of them were flat
