I've bee working like a borrowed mule

  I love that terminology!

Congrats on raise. Congrats on continuing to improve your own salability! Never know when it will be very important.

Garden? Well, from what you've posted I am certain there is plenty there for winter! Let those chickens enjoy it! I just hope you can get a day or two to hunt. You & son seem to enjoy being able to harvest one or two. Will be nice next to all the chicken and rabbit in the freezer.

You need a few days "OFF"........ :old

not much to report from the homestead. this weekend was my anniversary. spent time with the wife Saturday and Saturday night. barely had enough time to get the place mowed today. still have a bunch to do and the garden looks like hell bit I'm going to be in classes again this week after work so I doubt anything will change.
