Got melons on the vines and ears on the corn. Anxiously awaiting harvest time.

There are 4 ears on that corn plant. Most have 2 or 3. We should get quite a bit of corn if it every fills out..

OH - and the relish looks great!



He started crowing. My daughter saw it this morning. If any of you guys want it, I'll give him away. Just come pick it up

OH man! As much as I'd love to have him - a 5-6 hour drive (one way) for a chicken isn't in my near future! Dang it!

This was the view from my front porch this morning. The garden and animals are on high ground but the wood chips are in piles in the garden. I guess it's time to mulch again. It wasn't thick enough anyway.


We have more rain rolling in tonight... :gig
