How many did you get? Best and fastest way to stock the freezer! I have 49 in two places, they will be ready for slaughter in a few more weeks. Have 20 sold, the rest will go in ours and DD’s freezers. I part them out, can backs, necks, hearts, etc for dogs.
we run 25 at a time.

I took the one that paid the least with the least hours and no mandatory weekends. i made the decision this morning when i seen these posters we made with the kids. it was the wifes idea. you pit your goals on it and hang it up. nowhere in mine did it say chase a dollar...the contrary actually. so that made it easy to decide.

Yep..THE BEST part of my job is that I can set my own schedule. If I get up and find a need at home, I can change the job date...98% of the time. I need that. You made a good decision. After all, much of your expense is covered with your own self sufficiency efforts. Your kids need you there, so does DW. Relax and adjust spending to help it work. I do. :old :thumbsup

I think you made a good choice. An honest day's pay for an honest day's work. Bonuses are appreciated (something that I never experienced in the medical field) BUT, if you're treated right and paid accordingly, the bonus is not needed. No weekends, or holidays. And closer? That would be a no brainer for me!
