I like your chicken tractor. I was going to make one based off yours- simple, effective, and just enough to keep them safe and movable to new ground as needed. DH got ahold of the build and it is now 1/2 way done, not sure how he wants to finish it, and will have to be moved with the tractor it is so heavy.

thats counter productive for sure. light wieght is the key. i modified the john suscovich design. mine is actually a little heavier than his

Can you give a spec list for your tractor: Is there wire under the tarp? Dimensions? Is the bottom of back panel hinged? I have a pile of steel roofing that is just begging for a project. I also have an old CP coop that is rotting, needs to be torn down. But, the CP and the HDW cloth are all good for reuse.
